Our expertise began inside a P21 distribution company.
Before founding Triactive, Paul Ahlers worked directly with the systems, data, customers, and day-to-day demands of a Prophet 21 distributor.
That work grew from website management into product data, search, pricing, inventory, marketing, software development, and direct P21 integration. It became the foundation for Triactive and the multidisciplinary team supporting our customers today.
That background matters because most technology problems do not remain neatly contained within one platform. A storefront issue may begin with ERP data, a workflow may cross several systems, and a technical decision may affect sales, operations, accounting, and customer service.
Shaped by distributors
Phoenix was built with the P21 community—not in isolation.
Our customers have played a direct role in shaping both our platform and the way we work.
In 2018, Triactive formed a council of five Prophet 21 distributors to help define the foundation of Phoenix. They represented different industries, processes, priorities, and customer requirements.
Their input helped us distinguish one-company customizations from shared distributor needs and turn proven ideas into capabilities that could strengthen the platform for everyone.
That collaboration continues today through ongoing customer relationships, implementation experience, and the practical lessons learned from supporting P21 distributors over time.
